UD Ibiza have confirmed that Miguel Azeez has returned to Arsenal, ending a loan spell that began in September.
The 20-year-old made 11 appearances for the club in total but only featured in two of the last seven matches dating back to the end of October.
Azeez was due to spend the entire season on loan on the Balearic island but with Ibiza languishing at the bottom of the table the decision has been taken to end the arrangement prematurely.

It’s not the first time this has happened to the midfielder. Last season he was sent to Portsmouth to gain further experience of senior football but returned to London Colney in January and saw out the season with Arsenal’s under-23s.
It remains to be seen whether we rehouse Azeez this time around. It probably makes sense to do so because opportunities at the Emirates are going to be few and far between.
Arsenal have 15 more academy players out on loan at the moment and a further seven who are classified as first team squad members. It’s hard to categorise Auston Trusty, the 24-year-old American signed last January, but he’s spending the year at Birmingham.
