It’s been confirmed that two of Arsenal’s three Premier League fixtures in March have been given new kick-off slots.
The Gunners’ trip to Fulham, selected for broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports, will now take place on Sunday 12th March at 2pm. It had originally been scheduled for Saturday.
A week later, we’ll host Crystal Palace. This match won’t be on TV but has been shifted back 23 hours because of our Europa League commitments on the Thursday before.
It’s worth bearing in mind that should Arsenal progress in the FA Cup the Palace game will give way to a quarter-final on that weekend.
The home match with Bournemouth on 4th March stays as originally scheduled; a rare 3pm Saturday start!
For some unknown reason, our home match with Everton, postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, is yet to be given a new slot.
Obviously Sky Sports want to rearrange Arsenal v Everton for 3rd May 2023.
A 25th anniversary of a special fixture.
“And it’s Gabriel put through by William Saliba, would you believe it, that sums it all up.”
I hate all these postponements. It is a ploy to have City, league leaders.
imagine rescheduling, but not televising, a PL match featuring the league leaders. Its almost as bad as when NBC decide to air some mid table snoozefest instead of a derby match and then try to funnel viewers into their useless app.
also expect that everton match to come 2 days after we play someone else away, announced with less than 48 hours before kickoff, because the FA are full of dopes.
It’s so fucking hard to find tickets. The fact we’ve got untelevised matches in the UK is just mental
And now the police are after internet streamers. Football coverage in the UK is medieval and beyond a joke. Most people outside the UK can watch all the Arsenal games, while we pay a small fortune for the hope that someone picked it for TV.
I agree, in India we get to have all the matches and I pay nearly 5 pounds per year for only sports package including partial cricket coverage. So yeah it does feel mental to me that folks in UK have no choice.
What’s the reason? Can’t one subscribe to all the private channels (sky, itv,bt etc) and is there no ppv option.
I’m fairly certain that here in south Africa 🇿🇦 the palace match will be televised… As the private satellite channel (supersport) claims it will show all premier league games live
3pm kick offs aren’t televised here as (assume) there is a fear that if football is shown live at 3pm on a Saturday, no one will want to go to lower league matches. Not all PL matches are televised here full stop, it probably works out at about 40% of PL games are shown live. I was in NZ over Xmas and was able to watch all games with my dad on TV there, but live 15 minutes walk from the Emirates and can’t watch every game unless I stream illegally. The UK is fucked for lots of reasons beyond… Read more »
Games are sold out within minutes of them going on sale to silver members these days (I got through at 10:10 on the day the Bournemouth tickets went on sale and there were barely any left, for example).
I used to be able to get tickets with a red membership fairly easily (when silver members had had a month to buy them up). It’s not very fair for red members to be paying a membership that gets them nothing. Even the EL games went on general sale, so there was no advantage to having a red membership.
Arsenal Everton last September was going to be my first Arsenal premier league live match ever. (Been following the Gunners for 13 years from Chicago.) I’ve been checking this site even more frequently waiting to see when that game gets rescheduled. Can’t wait to see a match live at the Emirates, especially this team.
Anyone been to a game recently, home or away? Any chance of getting a ticket on the ticket exchange or no ones selling cuz they can upcharge on the stubhubs of the world?
Bit of an OT: is there any way to find out whether the date for the Man City – Arsenal game (to be played on Wed April 26) is final or still can be rescheduled? Many thanks
Can still be moved you’ll need to wait for April TV fixtures to be confirmed. Usually they try to announce 6 weeks before the month, so probably end Feb start of march. It’s a midweek round of games though so it’ll be Tue wed Thur barring anything exceptional.
