Blogs must of forgotten to write mudryk
Hey look, our front three cost half the price of Joao Felix for 5 months.
Thanks for this one😂😂😂
I would play zinchenko in this midfield…so little control against a championship side….the jury’s still out on Fabio viera…..it surely can’t be worse if we had to play Miguel Azeez and other youngsters…..ESR is a new signing….and we need one experienced body in the middle this January……. partey/Odegaard/xhaka/zinchenko…. undroppable at the moment…
Hopefully the front three aren’t needed for the full game and can be rotated.
Glad to see ESR back!
Should be resting saka for marquinhos at least….and should be starting an academy player…we can’t afford injuries…we could easily play 30 more matches this season…
I hear you but we don’t play again until Sunday and I’m sure that plays into the thinking. Let’s let Saka get 45 minutes so he is sufficiently rested for his hat trick on Sunday
Nice to see the penny has finally ‘dropped’ regarding Cedric.
😊
Jeez – if we can’t rotate ANY of the first XI front three against Oxford, we’ve got SERIOUS work to do in this window…
All the same, COYG!!
What, you’ve only just noticed….?!!
(Mudryk Penny Pinchers take note…….)
😂
Nah – I’d just have thought Marquinhos would’ve been able to force his way onto the pitch…
Six days to the next fixture, perhaps the thinking is to let the front three get more time on the pitch in competitive action together.
I understand this thinking, but I do think that it is starting to get worrying that we seem to be dragging our feet again like last January. The fact that we knew right from the summer that we needed to beef up the squad with relevant bodies and now moving slowly is very worrying. Cost us last season and I was hoping we learned our lesson.
An risk a needless injury to Saka or Martinelli when shittingham is a week out? Great thinking
Again no debut to any academy prospect. And only one makes the bench. Are we sure that Arteta really gives chances to the young talents? Gave debut to Nwaneri, and now doesn’t even call him in the squad against Oxford…
Arteta clearly values and loves the FA Cup more than you.
Thank fuck for that.
Nwaneri played for the U18s on Saturday.
And U21 played Man city at the weekend
No disrespect to Oxford, but I think mancity u21 are at least a similar match.
For youth Gunner Marcus McGuane is starting in midfield……… For Oxford 🤣
I love it. Arteta has said players should expect to play a lot of games. I don’t think picking teams worrying about injuries is the way forward. It seems our manager agrees. 🙂
Watching the game I think he has over rotated our midfield!
You’re spot on! Ineffective….no wonder PSV crushed us away…
Decent line up!
Coach Mike don’t rotate
He has rotated a lot of players tonight no?
Not the front line. Id rather lose this game.
Fair enough.
Yeah, losing to 2nd division Oxford would be great for momentum….
Who cares? We wont have a better chance to win the league for a long time.
Fair enough if that’s your opinion.
The players care, the manager cares, and most supporters want to win Arsenal’s personal cup. We are only getting better and the project is ahead a year, so I don’t agree that we wont have a better chance in the future to win the league for a long time. Arteta is building something special.
3rd round, two seasons in a row!
No thanks
Intrigued to see:
– whether Sambi starts as a DCM or a CM (I’m guessing Atreta wants to stay with a 4-1-2-3, so Sambi in the Xhaka role).
-which position The Smith will be subbed-in to (my money is on LW for Martinelli at HT).
3 nil up in 10 mins then bring on the subs
Stronger line-up than I envisaged, especially the front three. I hope they do the business within the hour and exit the stage.
Bloody commentators.
“That’s the one area where Arsenal don’t have depth in their squad. Centre back.”
So. Saliba, Gabriel, Holding. Three. But wait, White plays at both full and centre. Four. Hang on, Tomiyasu plays centre for Japan. Five. Yes, that’s five senior centre backs, without anyone playing a position they’re not used to.
How fucking many qualifies as “depth” then?
Fuck the Pox. Orcs in different coloured jerseys. Give it to em, Gunners.
What about Memphis Depay on loan to cover for G.Jesus?
