Mikel Arteta has earned a fifth nomination for the manager of the month award after leading Arsenal to another unbeaten run of fixtures.
Victories in March against Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham and Crystal Palace put the Spaniard in pole position to secure the prize for a fourth time this season and a sixth time since he took up life as a head coach.
While Pep Guardiola also has a 100 per cent record this month, his City side has only played twice in the league. Roberto De Zerbi and Unai Emery are the other managers to get the nod.

Arsenal’s fine form – which included 14 goals in our four fixtures – is further recognised via the nominations of Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard for the player of the month award.
Saka scored three goals and made two assists while Trossard made five assists.
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, Liverpool’s Mo Salah, Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister and Villa’s Tyrone Mings are also in the running.
You can vote for Bukayo or Leo, here.
Elsewhere, Bukayo has also won the Football Black List ‘Player – Off the Pitch’ award for his efforts in promoting inclusion outside of football. You can see his acceptance speech below.

UPDATE
- Reiss Nelson’s stoppage-time winner against Bournemouth, fired in with his left foot from the edge of the box, is up for goal of the month. You can vote for his strike, here.
- Aaron Ramsdale’s save to stop Dango Ouattara from making it 2-0 to Bournemouth is also up for save of the month. You can vote for his save, here.
Well deserved for them to get nominated and, fingers crossed, to win. Obviously Saka and Trossard can’t both win but both playing very well.
Hope we can keep it going, with no more injuries and Salba recovering, to the end of the season!
Get your votes in!!!
Also Reiss Nelson is up for goal of the month, I’m sure you remember it, give that a vote too!
Nelson’s goal was very good technically, and might deserve goal of the month for that alone. But the truth is, it’s impossible to separate the “quality” of a goal from the circumstances. If Arsenal win the league, Nelson’s goal, I think, will be remembered for generations.
Nketiah’s game winning goal against ManU will be too.
Finally Ramsdale is up for save of the season, vote for him too!
OK, the month…
Loving the enthusiasm!!! Votes are in
That should well get the nods for the save of the season. What a save!
Arteta and Saka.
No contest, although Trossard has been superb as well.
Saka is special, but we know what he’s about already. I’d give it to Trossard, what an impact, imagine where we’d be without his contribution and versatility when we’ve needed it so badly. Nketiah out Jesus out, no problem we’ve got Trossy. Martinelli’s dead form rose again cause of his football understanding and link up play.
I saw a stat the other day – at Brighton he had 5 assists in something like 90 odd games – at arsenal 6 assists in 5 games.
I commented on here when mudpack fell through and we signed Tross that it was excellent business – but even the most optimistic of fans could not have expected this output
I felt like Arsenal not overpaying for Caicedo and Mudryk was a bad short term move but an excellent long term move because it tells everyone that we’re not desperate. We pay the right value or we’re out.
But I never imagined that Trossard (and to a lesser extent Jorginho) would be so valuable for us.
100%
Seems like Saka hasn’t won player of the month yet this year, which seems a bit absurd given he’s into double figures for goals and assists in the prem! So while I’d love to give it to Trossard for the impact he’s had, got to be Buyako this month. Goes without saying who wins manager, goal and save.
*Bukayo
Good ebening.
This Team is going places for a very long time.
I gave my vote to Trossard. He came when a lot of us were pissed off about that Ukrainian child (I forget his name since he’s been invisible at the war criminal loving club he chose) and just smashed it.
Saka is a once in a generation talent but I just love Trossard for the immediate impact he’s had. I hope Trossard goes on to be one of those dependable players for us into his thirties.
Would-be adopted son of the season – Bukayo!
martinelli scored in all of those games and isn’t even nominated. plethora of riches 👍
I have voted.
Did you go for Pep and his 2 games? Bravo, Pep, unbelievable nomination.
Expected to see Martinelli in the nominations
Man, we’re really just swimming this season
