Katie McCabe starts at left-back for Arsenal with Steph Catley rested to the bench for the visit of Liverpool in the WSL this evening. Victoria Pelova will play as a wide forward.
Laura Wienroither is restored to the team after Noelle Maritz was preferred on Sunday and Leah Williamson and Rafaelle retain their places in defence, as do the usual midfield trio of Walti, Little and Maanum.
Pelova and Foord will flank Blackstenius upfront. Lina Hurtig and Steph Catley are notable absences from the bench but Gio returns after she was cuptied for Sunday’s Conti Cup Final win against Chelsea.
Kickoff is at 7.15pm and the game is being streamed live on Arsenal.com.

Got the job done. The second half went the way I thought the whole game would. We were so sharp in the first half and kept up an impressive tempo. Liverpool’s subs, our subs, our fatigue and Liverpool’s more attacking tactics in the second half disrupted our game a bit. Pelova fits this team like a glove. We have a clutch of escape artists – Kim, Lia, Caitlin and now Victoria Pelova. She looks stronger each time she plays. Great signing. Nice to see Blackstenius looking so confident. Crowd noise sounded great on FA Player, fair play to the spectators on such a cold night. I gave up on the Arsenal stream, dreadful sound.
Oh, you are kidding me! I didn’t switch. I assumed that it was exactly the same because Arsenal were taking the FAPlayer stream. Dang!
