Arsenal are at the London Stadium this afternoon looking to re-establish a six point lead at the top of the Premier League.
Here are the official lineups.
West Ham: Fabianski, Coufal, Kehrer, Zouma, Cresswell, Rice, Soucek, Paqueta, Bowen, Antonio, Benrahma
Subs: Areola, Anang, Johnson, Downes, Cornet, Emerson, Fornals, Lanzini, Ings
Arsenal: Ramsdale, Tierney, White, Holding, Gabriel, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
Subs: Turner, Walters, Kiwior, Jorginho, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Trossard, Nelson, Nketiah
What happened to Zinny?
Tight groin, just a precaution.

I’ve got a tight groin as well, just thinking about going six points clear again after beating west ham
Orthodox Easter today, probably given a day off
In my opinion if it was Tierney against Trent last week at Anfield he would not have been nutmegged that easy for their second goal. Zinko is better yes overloading midfield , but he gives an opponent time to think with the ball.
Zinny not even on the bench, hope he’s OK.
Let’s get all three points!!!
Zinny injured? Really hope it’s not a bad one, need him desperately vs. City
Confident Tierney can do a fantastic job today and v. Southampton though
With Holding in that blackline (all due respect to the great servant to the club), the technical level in our buildup drops massively with Tierney also there.
Of course, Tierney would be the better player to deal with Bowen when we defend, but I don’t expect West Ham to attack a lot, which makes Zinny’s miss interesting.
Really? More of a traditional defence with Tierney. Might be good for Holding…..
Holding and Tierney today are that Paul Rudd meme “Hey, look at us”.
Yeah, I don’t expect them to press us as relentlessly as Liverpool either so our buildup should be ok even without the technical wizardry of Zinchenko. And Tierney’s attacking threat might help us break them down if they sit back.
Also it sounds like he’s been working in training on taking on Zinchenko’s role so let’s not completely rule out him improving technically, he’s still young too.
Is Zinky injured? Otherwise , a strong line up, strong bench. COYG!!!
A Trophy up for grabs today – let’s take that
It has been a seven year itch.
‘Precaution’ for Zinchenko apparently. Fingers crossed he has a rest this week and is back for Southampton
Tierney to have a stormer today.
Let’s go for a clean sheet! I want Ramsdale to get that golden glove!
Good for KT to get some gametime in case we need him for man city
Tierney deserves this ! Today sees him step up to become a legend Totally confident we have the cojones for today !!!
Will 3 points today confirm St Totterings day?
Loosing Tomiyasu and Saliba is bad for this team. The level starts to drop a bit with dear Rob. Tomi could have provided the right sort of cover for Saliba filling at CB, or RB with White coming central. I fear for the encroaching city game without Saliba coming back or indeed Tomi to fill a hole. Stress, anxiety, fear, and stress, the joys of football.
Remember the run we went on to reach the CL final in 2006? We managed it with a makeshift defence and hoped injured players would make it back in time for the final – thing is the makeshift defence got used to each other and performed well!! Who knows, maybe KT would be a better option v oil city, felt zinny tried too hard to make an impression in the home match!!!
Zinchenko would be a big miss because of our we set up to play, but we’d cope. COYG!!!
Tight groin for Zinchenko sounds like one of those mystery injuries of the Wenger era when something was not right between manager and player. I am not saying that is the issue here.
Meanwhile, the second half of this game is going to be critical. West Ham may begin to tire after their exertions on Thursday. If they already losing by end of first half, we could get a healthy goal difference.
No, it sounds like a tight groin
Down votes incoming, but imho Tierney should’ve been infront of Zinchenko for a couple of weeks.
Well that’s a hindsight comment. Would we even have gone 2-0 up at Anfield without Zinchenko?
If you read By The Numbers – “Oleksandr Zinchenko had the highest number of passes among Arsenal players, attempting 55 and completing 52. He also played the highest number of progressive passes among his teammates”
I’ve been saying it for about 2 months mate. Zinchenko loses the ball constantly. Yes we control games better but he provides at least one or two clear cut chances for the opposition in every game.
Tough fixture. They’re not playing well as a team but West Ham have quite a few players with individual quality that can still hurt us.
Of course it’s one game at a time but it’s hard not to look at today and Southampton as a double-header six must win points. Mathematically and psychologically.
What a start! Incredible build up to both goals, what a cross by Martinelli. Great to have Ode back on the scoresheet
Sunday stroll so far but we need to keep this up. Kill the game this half please!
That aged like the shittiest wine you’ve ever had
Pequeta dive after a handball? Looks like another apology letter from webb
Fucking handball first of all. But it wasn’t given because it’s arsenal.
Once again var making no call to back up the on field mistakes instead of using their eyes to ask David cooter to check a monitor
It wasn’t a dive but it was handball.
Playing really well.
Dominating the game
Two goals up.
Then give them a chance.
Last week it was Xhaka.
This week it is Partey.
Honestly, do these players actually want to win the league?
Arsenal putting themselves under pressure – the central midfield partnership once gain giving the impetus to the opposition.
Arsenal is a good team, but no team can afford to allow arrogance to creep in.
Honestly, it’s so fucking stupid.
West Ham have something to fight for now.
Partey wtf. Wake up for 2nd half
Simply because Tierney can’t overload midfield as required doesn’t make him weak. He does his job perfectly as a left back. And he senses danger quicker than Zinko in my opinion, there is no way Trent could have pulled a nutmeg on him last week at Anfield. Does not allow an opponent too much time on the ball
Arsenal are just gifting opportunities for West Ham to get back into this game.
They really need to get back on top and fast before they pay a heavy price.
And fucking hell they have just completely fucked it up.
Playing against 12 is always rough, pgmol have it in for us
Not playing against 12 are they, got a two goal lead a switched off. Can’t believe no one has been subbed.
Can’t believe our lying eyes now can we.
Arsenal was dominating, comfortable just as they were against Liverpool.
And they gifted the opportunity to a team that was dead and buried after ten minutes.
This is beyond shit and its down to the players and no-one else.
Nah, ref may have got a few decisions wrong but overall didn’t affect the result. Arsenal played for 20 minutes and then switched off.
This was the same game as last week against a weaker team which played on thursday as well.
Easy to blame the ref but today’s result was on the players/coach.
Always someone other than the players to blame.
Blowing a two-goal lead has nothing to do with VAR or the referee.
West Ham were dead and fucking buried and we were dominating.
Until Thomas Partey gave them the chance to get back into the game.
If we fail to win this its over.
Looks like we are trying to throw away three points!!! What started out well is rapidly turning into a nightmare!!
I suspect we will get beat now, so we can’t even celebrate getting back into the CL and the return of st totteringham day!!!
Speechless. Awful.
Just cannot believe this.
2-2 Liverpool I can understand.
This I cannot.
The central midfield partnership of Xhaka and Partey has cost us dearly this last week.
Bye bye title, we blew it last week tbh
Despite the progress Arsenal have made this season all they will be remembered for by opposition fans and pundits alike is that they ruined a wonderful chance of achieving something meaningful
You can safely say that Man City will sign top class players as the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and United will only get stronger.
This was a real opportunity wasted..
I will go onto say that Arsenal has an absolutely fantastic squad of players and a great young manager and have done exceptionally well this season, defying all of our expectations.
The future is looking very good indeed, but I can now understand why Arsenal are looking at central midfield in the summer. Our so called experienced players have let us down a bit this last week and with such fine margins you cannot afford that.
season over. champions league money here we come. that’s about it.
Bye bye title
hello CL money. it’s all about $$$
Terrible! Did we at least make St Totteringhams or did we fuck up that one too?
Technically they could win every game, we could lose every game and they could win on goal difference.
I think that means we even fucked up St Totteringhams. Christ what a shit day!
We have overlooking other with man City game talk. And they don’t like it really
Overlooking other teams
Saka cannot be replaced in a game? His form has not been good for several games in straight.
Cannot believe it when Martinnelli was replaced but not Saka.
Many have been pointing out that making the right changes in-game is an area where Arteta can improve a lot. It was clear again today how accurate that point is.
He will get there – it all comes with experience.
He has all the makings of a world class coach.
I was bitterly disappointed with this result, but we are well ahead of our schedule and the team looks great.
Some world class signings in the summer with the extra revenue and we can perhaps make that additional step.
