Arsenal’s Norwegian midfielder Frida Maanum has been voted as the Arsenal Women Supporter’s Club Player of the Season for 2022-23. Maanum has made a huge impact on the team as an attacking midfielder, finishing the season as the team’s second top scorer in all competitions and their top scorer in the WSL.
Frida scored 16 goals in all competitions this season and not only minimised the loss of Vivianne Miedema in the number 10 position, Maanum actually kept Miedema out of the team in October after starring in the 5-1 win away at Lyon.

While much of the squad was engulfed in an injury crisis, Maanum has played consistently, starting 29 of Arsenal’s last 30 games. The 23-year-old Norway international won the vote comfortably.
Arseblog News also understands that Maanum has signed a contract extension with the club with an official confirmation expected in the coming days.
