Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have been included on the six-man shortlist to win the PFA Fans’ Player of the Year award.
The Gunners’ duo, who came second and third respectively in the recent FWA Footballer of the Year vote, are nominated alongside Erling Haalaned, Kevin de Bruyne, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane.
Saka, 21, has registered an impressive 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions while Odegaard, 24, has netted 15 goals and made 8 assists.
The pair have been the backbone of Arsenal’s surprise title challenge which looked on track to go to the final day of the season until a recent wobble in form.
All the same, with Champions League football confirmed Saka and Odegaard will finally get their chance to play at Europe’s top table. It’ll be fascinating to see them test themselves at a higher level.

Elsewhere, congratulations to Aaron Ramsdale who won a second consecutive Premier League Save of the Month award for his fingertip denial of Mo Salah at Anfield in April.
Also a tip of the cap to Arsenal Women’s Frida Maanum who is nominated for the PFA WSL Fans’ Player of the Year.
With all those awards I’m getting quite lost. Which ones actually matter?
EPL and Champions league titles. FA cup a bit too.
Didn’t expect to have to vote for Akpom but I did. Thought Akpom was going to retire in our acedmy. Voted for Saka on my computer. Plan to vote for Ode on my phone. Is that how it works?
Turn off wifi on your phone if it would normally be connected to the same home network as your computer.
Off topic, but have just seen online that Keown, speaking on TalkSport, has openly accused Martin Tyler of anti-Arsenal bias.
Brilliant! 😂
Fair play to him for effectively giving it to Sky with both barrels. Their bias towards City has indeed been cringeworthy this season.
A bit worrying how the spark has gone from Saka since his illness. I hope its a minor injury issue and not a mentality issue.
