Hello! If you are new here, or your interest in Arsenal Women has been piqued by the World Cup, here’s why Arseblog News is the best place around for all things Arsenal Women. We have been covering the team extensively for over a decade, we cover every match (home, away and in Europe) and every press conference in person, we speak to the Head Coach at every available opportunity, we offer detailed previews, analysis, player and coach interviews and we have regularly broken transfer exclusives around the women’s team over the last eight years or so. Here is what you can expect from Arseblog News across the season.
Before each game
• We write detailed match previews which are published 24 hours before each game.
• We attend every pre match press conference with Jonas Eidevall and always ask our allotted questions, which we then transcribe on Arseblog News.
• We post up the team line-ups as soon as they are announced on Arseblog News. If there are any unexpected or unreported absences, we get across them for you live from the stadium.
• For Champions League games, we attend the UEFA allotted open training sessions and produce video content ahead of the game courtesy of the excellent Jason Ilagan.
• For games played at the Emirates, we also produce a matchday vlog which goes live the day after the game, also courtesy of our videographer Jason.

After each game
• We speak to the manager immediately after each game and always ask our allotted questions. The manager’s post-match press conference is transcribed verbatim and posted on Arseblog News within 60-90 minutes of the final whistle.
• The day after each WSL game we provide a detailed tactical analysis with match graphics from the excellent @Miedemastuff
But we don’t just cover the games, we cover all facets of the club here on Arseblog News.
• We regularly get exclusive player feature interviews.
• We record a minimum of two podcasts a month with a variety of guests, be they players, journalists or specialists in topical areas such as injury treatment, scouting or former players. The Arsenal Women Arsecast goes out on the main Arsecast feed. Every time Arsenal sign a new player, we also produce a podcast profiling them with a guest who knows their game well.
• We also regularly provide video content, either from open training sessions or just on topical subjects.
• We also regularly write analysis or opinion articles on the team. Statsbomb kindly grant us access to sophisticated data around Arsenal Women, which we use to inform insights.
• We have a long track record of breaking transfer exclusives. This summer alone We were first on the Alessia Russo transfer, we were first on the deals for Cloe Lacasse and Amanda Ilestedt and we were first on the imminent signing of Spanish defender Laia Codina and we (reluctantly) broke the story of Rafaelle’s departure to Orlando Pride.
• All our Arsenal Women photo stock is shot exclusively for Arseblog News at matches by the excellent Kunjan Malde.
• We also cover all other news stories around the club such as injury updates, player of the month / season nominations and any other news that might pop up.
Our reputation for covering Arsenal Women is unrivalled, so why not join us ahead of the 2023-24 season?
Please make an own AW blog!
We’re better off here. Arseblog News has a long standing, strong brand in women’s football, which gets us access. The site also covers all facets of Arsenal so it makes perfect sense to provide extensive c
Coverage of the women’s team, just as we do every facet of the club. We’re not under the illusion all fans are interested in all the stories and that’s fine.
you should be proud of your performance and growth as nowadays i see so many more arsenal women’s articles that also seem to be really high quality. but me personally am not interested in them at all, and find it a nuisance having to skip them every time i want to catch up on the men’s team. granted, it’s not the end of the world if i have to, but just like you don’t want to read an article about sports when you’re reading the economy section of a newspaper, i think it’d be more comfortable for everyone to have… Read more »
They are under the ‘women’ banner, they are clearly labelled with appropriate imagery. There’s just no mistaking when it’s an AWFC article and there’s no need to ‘skip’ them, you just don’t read them like most people who aren’t interested in other stories about the club. I’m not especially interested in the academy ones or the ones about kit releases but I don’t demand the site puts them somewhere separate.
sorry, i didn’t meant to demand anything at all. i was just expressing what i found more comfortable. if the academy articles were published as frequently as the women’s i’d find it more suitable to separate it as well, but it’s not a big deal. congrats on your work and best of luck for this season!
“so why not join us ahead of the 2023-24 season?”
This is confusing. Arsenal Women are already included in Arseblog News, so what exactly are we choosing to ‘join’ here?
Forgive me, I don’t genuinely think you’re confused about anything here. I think you know it’s just a figure of speech.
Don’t you ever dare to split it up. Arsenal is a family, and all aspects Arsenal should stick together. Just miss one thing, and that is the Foreig affairs section: All them gooners from everywhere should have their own litte tab far to the right of the window 😛
Hence, why Arseblog cleans up at the end of season awards
Top quality coverage, nowhere better! Congratutations and thanks!!!

Can’t say no to that call to action! Can’t wait for another big season for the women.
Really appreciate all you do to cover the Women’s team. My 11 year old daughter and I appreciate it from Chicago USA!
Exceptional job Tim.
You and your colleagues always go above and beyond for the Ladies side of the Club.
Long may it continue.
I follow the women’s pro game exclusively thanks to your coverage. You do great work, so thank you. Hoping for a season with some silverware! COYGG
Thank you for all the hard work, it’s great to have this level of coverage. I took my partner to the Wolfsburg Semi Final last season and she then watched all of the Australia matches at the WWC (where she hails from), and also the Ireland (where my family is from, and because she has a soft spot for Katie McCabe), and the final too. We have both bought the £52 Emirates match bundle, and will be following more closely this year than previously. I would also love to get to Meadow Park for some games. I’m hoping that Catley,… Read more »
Simply the best Arsenal Women’s coverage out there, simply the best women’s football coverage out there. Tim and company are the absolute gold standard, thank you for everything y’all do it. The quality elevates the entire genre. Hats off, and looking forward to another season.
That’s fine, but the women’s team news etc should be in its own separate place inside the blog. You shouldn’t put the women’s team news in the same feed as the men’s. For the vast majority that doesn’t follow women’s football is an unnecessary inconvenience.
It’s categorised as ‘Arsenal Women’, there is a tab for it at the top of the page. Like we say, there is just no way every reader is interested in every story on the site. That’s fine, they just don’t have to click on them. The desire to have them parcelled away do your delicate eyes don’t even have to see the headlines is just outright hostility towards its very existence and, with respect, that’s your issue, not the site’s.
Absolutely well said Tim, lm sick of all these ‘haters’ trying to demean the women’s game. So misogynistic!!
Thanks everyone that made kind comments here 😄
great more arsenal women’s comtent being shoved down our throats
Open wide
Hope you choke on it!!
It’s fantastic to follow The Women’s team even here from Norway. You have been my link to this part of the club for years. Keep it up.
Do you why the Away kit was announced as “…men’s away kit”?
that sentence meant to have ‘Know’ in it
The women will have a bespoke away kit this season.
