The fact that Arteta can draw on ESR, Saka, Nketiah, Nelson is because Wenger and then Emery were not afraid to play youngsters in games like these.

Should have, at least one of them, Walters by now surely deserves a start in a game of utterly no importance. I was arguing for a strong team in the Europa league vs Lisbon last season (would take that one back now) so I really don’t wanna be one of those fans, but unlike that game there is literally zero to be gained from this one, so if either half of Galiba gets hurt Mikel will deserve all the rage thrown at him
Cedric needs to be bought up to speed since tomi is out for a while and white only just recovered.
For Walters to start it would mean the boss was actually planning to promote him to the first team bench this Dec/jan

Lol. Saliba is 22, had a major back injury, had surgery and has played every minute in the PL and UCL this season… Surely, he should have gotten a rest here considering the number of games coming up ffs!

Nobody gets injured, please! Not sure why Arteta would start Saliba, give him a rest surely. And would have like to see a few more youngsters on the bench. He should have left Saka/Odegaard/Jesus at home to have a week off after recent injuries plus get 3 more youngsters on the bench (Myles-Skelly, Sagoe Jr and Cozier-Duberry)
