Raya also started the move which let to our winner at Luton. His long pin-point pass to Jesus drew the foul which let to that final attack and goal.

Raya is clearly Arteta’s #1 – so be it. It’ll either work out or it won’t. Sell Ramsdale in January and end the drama. I’ll be sad to see him go but he’s too good to be on the bench.

It’s a winnable game for us and we know villa will get chances so defensively we have to play smart and confident and not gift them easy chances-I’m looking at you Zinchenko. My only worry is that we have one consistent impact sub in Trossard and not much else. Eddie and Riess are inconsistent but can score under pressure. Good news is front 6 have been scoring and contributing for us.
