Henry-Francis needs loan spell to really push on

Jack Henry-Francis is one of a host of academy players that have travelled to Dubai with the Arsenal first-team but it remains to be seen where the midfielder will be playing next month.

The 20-year-old has amassed almost half a century of appearances for Arsenal at U21 level but has yet to be given the opportunity to test himself in competitive senior football, whether with the Gunners or elsewhere.

Injuries at inopportune times have often prevented Henry-Francis from going on loan but if there is a chance for him to secure a temporary switch before the end of this transfer window then it could prove to be extremely beneficial.

Henry-Francis, who has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, offers a lot to his team with his tenaciousness, while he is also an impressive passer.

He was involved with the Arsenal first-team in pre-season in 2021, notably making an impact as a substitute against Hibernian.

However, since then although he has often trained with the squad the youngster has found it difficult to get close to being involved with the senior setup on matchdays.

Therefore a loan move could well be the best option as Henry-Francis looks to demonstrate what he is capable of in senior football.

Looks like none of the youngsters will get a chance . That would be ok if everyone in the Ist team were playing well which is not the case.
