Danish midfielder Kathrine Kuhl has joined Everton on loan for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old joined last January from Njordaesland but has found minutes restricted in the early part of this season.
However, Arsenal highly rate Kuhl and view this move, to link up with Everton coach Brian Sorensen who gave her her debut in Denmark ahead 16, as a purely developmental move ahead of being a key member of the squad next season.
In total, Kuhl, known by her teammates as ‘Ke’ has made 24 appearances and scored one goal in her Arsenal career to date.
Director of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley said: “We’ve been impressed by Kathrine’s development during her time with us so far and this move will provide her with an opportunity to continue her progression in the WSL. Kathrine is a wonderful young midfielder and we look forward to seeing her grow over the coming months and as her Arsenal career unfolds.”
