It’s been confirmed that Arsenal’s trip to Sheffield United has been moved to the first Monday of March.
The match, previously arranged for Saturday 2 March, is now an 8pm kick-off on 4 March and will be broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports.
The trip to Bramall Lane comes sandwiched between home games against Newcastle (24 Feb) and Brentford (9 March).
It means more time to recover from one and less time to recover for the other. So swings and roundabouts really.
Hopefully, those planning to attend the game hadn’t already booked trains and accommodation for the weekend.
Arsenal have only lost three matches against the Blades dating back to 1981 although all three did come away from home. Chris Wilder’s side are currently bottom of the table, hoping we can stick the (steel) knife in.
Pain in the Arse
Can there be any industry that holds its paying customers in such contempt?
Energy companies, phone companies, rail companies…..
I just said to myself “But Sheff United aren’t even in the league” and had to double check the table. Oh they are, just right at the bottom and not for long
