Swiss side Servette have confirmed the arrival of Omar Rekik on a six-month deal.
The Tunisia international, 22, heads to the Swiss Super League having spent the last two years on loan at Wigan Athletic and Sparta Rotterdam.
After finalising a deal for Rekik, club president Thierry Regenass said: “I am delighted to welcome Omar to the club. This young player is full of potential and we are convinced that he will be able to express it perfectly in our Servetti environment.”

Signed from Hertha Berlin in 2021, the centre-back remains under contract at Arsenal until 2025 although Servette have confirmed they have an option to buy the player the summer if things go well.
Given he faces a tall order breaking through at the Emirates, we hope it does.
Never heard of Omar Rekik or Servette
He’s an absolute legend at Deportivo La Coruña. Joined initially on a 2-year loan as a teenager and played every game as they got promoted to La Liga in 2 years where he made his move permanent for £1m. Captained the team for a few years then was sold to Hertha Berlín for a decent profit.
If you tell me my football manager save isn’t real you’re just sounding like my wife!!
