Arsenal have confirmed that academy youngster Zane Monlouis will spend the second half of the season on loan at League One side Reading.
The centre-back, a regular captain of Mehmet Ali’s under-21s, heads to the Madejski Stadium (currently known as the Select Car Leasing Stadium 🤢) at a difficult time for the Royals.

Relegated from the Championship last summer they are in real danger of dropping into League Two with off-field financial issues resulting in points deductions and fan anger.
Zane will wear the number 14 shirt at his new club. Hopefully, it goes well for him.
Going to a once stable club that’s in a bit of a mess will be a culture shock, every point is vital, he’ll have to grow up sharpish, but that’ll be good for him it might actually be the making of him?
