Arsenal’s match with Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium has been pushed back a day after Unai Emery’s side secured their place in the Europa Conference League quarter-finals.
The match will now take place on Sunday 14 April at 4.30pm (UK time) and will be broadcast by Sky Sports.
Villa have drawn Lille in Europe and will play on the Thursday before visiting N5 hence the need to push back from the ‘original’ 5.30pm slot.
Arsenal play Bayern Munich on either side of Emery’s return. The home leg of our Champions League quarter-final is on Tuesday 9th April while the away leg is the following Wednesday.
There was a chance that the game at Wolves on 20 April could be postponed. However, following a spectacular stoppage-time collapse against Coventry, Gary O’Neil’s side squandered a chance of an FA Cup semi-final that weekend.
The game will go ahead at some point across Saturday or Sunday but we’re still waiting to hear if it has a TV broadcast slot.

And I think to myself – There but for the grace of Dennis go us.
Gracias Mikel.
I really hope they go for Southgate. Hilarious. Harry Maguire for ever!
Man U will all be spouting waste-coats come the start of next season..

We have indeed come a long long way…
At this rate, we’ll be playing our entire remaining Premiership fixtures in the third week of May.
Those of us who remember the 1979/80 campaign will know what happened when fixture overload kicked in…..
Hi all, not sure where to post this but I wanted to ask for a recommendation. I live in Spain and will be in London for a show at the Barbican the same weekend as the derby against Sp*rs. Obviously I don’t want to miss the game and wanted to watch it in an Arsenal bar. Is there anyone kind enough to recommend me some options? I have to say I am not a huge fan of the alcoholized and loud atmosphere of the typical sports pub (plus I’ll be with mrs.) and would prefer a cozy, not too crowded… Read more »
