Laura Wienroither returns to the Arsenal squad for the first time since rupturing her ACL in May last year for Arsenal’s WSL game away at Aston Villa this evening. Emily Fox returns to the starting line-up, while Frida Maanum and Cloe Lacasse also come into the team. Our understanding is that Lia Walti has an MCL injury but we don’t yet have a timeline on her likely absence.
Manu Zinsberger starts in goal with Fox, Williamson, Wubben-Moy and McCabe in defence. Pelova and Little play at the base of the midfield with Maanum ahead of them. Mead and Lacasse start on the flanks with Alessia Russo coming back into the team ahead of them.
