Come back safely

Gunner H

So many players are travelling such long distances – even the Americas! We can expect wildly different postcards Ha Ha!

Thankfully our inspirational Captain has no chance of picking up an injury.

Frida is not going to be joining the Norway squad, according to the Guardian. Still no news on what the problem is/was, though.

That is a big worry. You don’t just go down like that for nothing 😐

I’m at least encouraged by the fact she travelled home with the team on the bus after the game. The worst case scenario (and our assumption when something like that happens) would’ve been a cardiac event but were that the case she would’ve been in the hospital, not on the bus.

I was wondering if it was some kind of exhaustion-induced faint or something.

Chrishgooner

I thought along the lines of exhaustion. Frida certainly put “on a shift” in the game. Would be interesting to see her activity statistics.

It’ll be awkward for Fox next season when she goes off for an interlull to play for her nation team and finds Emma &%#ing Hayes.

Redwall

haha🤣

Good luck to all our international stars. And those who aren’t going away, have fun spreading all your stuff out in the changing room and eating the extra bowls of trifle after training…

Update on Frida Maanum from the Arsenal website here:

Sounds like it appeared to be a cardiac problem, but the doctors haven’t found an underlying cause. She’s being monitored and may or may not return to the squad this season.

Suggestion: Maybe you should also include the players on loan (Freya, Kühl) and the academy players too (Viv Lia, Agyemang, Earl)?
