Charles

That bench looks much stronger than recently

Dinosauras

Came here to say the same

Heavenly Chapecoense

3 – 1, a win for us, another good prediction of mine.

Omash

Let’s kill this lot. COYG

Fezec

Undercooked it bruv!

You’re not alone in not seeing that one coming though!!!

C.B.

Time to Partey! Come on you Reds!

C.B.

Lots of solidity, looking forward to it!

Bill

That’s probably the strongest team I’d say we have. And Martinello/Jesus are fantastic options to bring off the bench.

Billy bob

Partey in the middle worries me, he looked so rusty in the cameo appearances, but I understand the need for some fresh legs too!!

karl g

He’s always been slow to get form back, but we are short in midfield running. The one thing he offers more than anyone else though, is vertical through balls.

Arsepedant

Never in doubt. He doesn’t look like he’s missed a minute this season. What a performance!

Daveod

Let’s……..f***ing……..go!

backsakacrack

Pretty frustrating Partey is finally back once we’ve gone out of Europe. He was badly needed for those games.

Up4GrabsNow!

There’s no party like a Thomas Partey, cos a Thomas party don’t stop

Note to Benny Blanco: feel free to boot Mudrick up in the air

Carll

I’m really interested to see how Partey does, he’ll be a massive boost if he can find anywhere near his form from last season.

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

I like that lineup.
My dislike for Chelsea runs deeper than any other club, so I just want to say.
Fuck Chelsea. Fuck John Terry. Fuck everybody associated with that little club

Norwegian Wood

They’ve been so mediocre of late, I don’t even think about them anymore. The perfect revenge.

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

I hear you loud and clear, but we play them today so I have no choice but to think about those little cunts

Russ

Know what you mean but Man U I also really dislike these days…

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

I really appreciate Man Utd these days. Nothing but joy and entertainment these past few seasons

Eric Blair

Interesting lineup and strong bench. Can’t say I’m not worried about ‘gotta fight for your right to…’ in midfield, but I trust Arteta knows what he’s doing.

Any kind of a win will do tonight, just put a bit of pressure on Man City.

Havi

Partey time.

Fatgooner

Great line-up. And NO Cole Palmer for Chelsea (sick).

Great opportunity to go 4 points clear.

C.B.

We are level with Liverpool currently, so that would be tricky…

Fatgooner

Of City, fool! Liverpool don’t count: they won’t win it!!!

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

Would have been great if Trevor Chalobah was playing

Bill Hall

Havertz to score against his old club 😉

Tomas Cazorla

Twice!! And he celebrated wholeheartedly

Gunner1971

Nice! That’s exactly the lineup I picked this morning.

Hopefully we see prime Partey!

John

Arsenal were top of the league at Christmas. Since the new year, their form is 11 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. Statistically after 33 games they have the best goal difference, the meanest defence, the most clean sheets and the highest-scoring attack. They have a better head-to-head record over both main title rivals (4 points to 1 in each case). And yet they could win each of their 5 remaining games and still not only miss out on the title but finish third. Has there ever been anything like this before?

AusGunner

honestly this is almost one for The Knowledge at the grauniad

Čenda

Liverpool and their 96 points season? Much worse, man.

Artedu

Smash them

Mark

Glad Partey is finally getting a start to see how we can do with Rice and Partey in there together.

Vieiraera

Excited to see TP and Tomi starting. Hopefully we are 4-0 up after 45 minutes to give Saka and Rice a rest before NLD.

Alberto Balsam Mendez Rodriguez

45+ minutes of Partey pulling out of challenges, hope the rest of the team can cover for him.

Jesus of Sao Paulo

They’ve got fucking cucurella at left back. I hope Gabby Martinelli comes in early enough to turn that Fraud inside out again!

Teryima Adi

That midfield is rock solid. Another three points in the bag. COYG!!!!!

Billy bob

Should be 3-0 up with one of their players sent off, as it is just 1-0 I have increasingly bad feelings about this one!!!

Billy bob

I can see the post match waffle being about inept refereeing – obviously in the ref has been handed a big brown paper bag!!!

Vieiraera

We’re back to early season Havertz. Tepid, aimless, wasteful. Passing the ball when he should shoot and shooting when a pass is on. So we missed 2 sitters. How we go into the break only 1 nil up is beyond me. Now the game is still in the balance.

Daveod

Saved me having to post the exact same thing, this is like you said very early arsenal Havertz

Tomas Cazorla

Yeah.. Havertz is crap! 😉
Just an hour later the world looks much better doesn’t it?

Ealing

Didn’t age well lol

Ricky

Nailed it

Deano

Yet more ineptitude from the officials, guess we’ll have to wait for a broken leg before someone gets their marching orders.

Being a bit too clever with our short passing game, some simple passes would have suited us more.

Would look at Martinelli for last 25 against that Gilchrist, should have him on toast.

Vieiraera

Stupid ref and VAR !!! How is Nicholas Jackson still on the pitch ?!!

Arsepedant

Didn’t really matter in the end, did it? Plus we got to see all those extra examples of what an inept waste of money he is as a striker.

Billy bob

Well it seems one bit of crap officiating from var is cancelled out by another!!! My fretting is well and truly over with the third and forth goal

Royalknighmu

Rice, havertz and odegaard were phenomenal. That’s where partey magic is.

The Arsenal

Still can’t believe Havertz is so much more effective than Jesus as a 9. Havertz isn’t the greatest finisher either so it highlights just how bad Jesus is in front of goal a lot of the time. Pep realised he is a winger.
