Let’s do thissss!!! COYG

Omash

This is the derby team. Destroyer of chelshit killer of spurs. COYG let’s win this game.

Mkh

Spurs in the make to be the next “small” club to lose by a 5+ margin.

Daveo

For the second week running I thought we were playing an EPL game, but it appears it’s just a bunch of pub leaguers. Bit of a worry we’re not getting challenged by good enough quality…

Ebo

Too early dude. We’ve had a 4-0 lead in this fixture end in 4-4. Not that I think this team is similarly mentally fragile or lacking experience for that to be likely to happen, but derby has its own rules.

We’ve also not been significantly superior so far, if at all. Lucky to be 3-0 up. But if anything that makes me so proud of this team – to finally have an Arsenal team where we can comfortably beat opponents even when we’re not necessarily paying better than them… we’re showing real ruthlessness! COYG!!!

Daveo

This team is too professional to let a 3-0 Derby slip. And I mean it’s sp**s…🤣

Ebo

I’m not saying I think you’re wrong, but that just isn’t something you say at half time when the opposition has played fairly well and had plenty of chances to score, regardless of scoreline, its just tempting fate. And you’re definitely wrong about them being “pub leaguers” while I appreciate insulting Spurs as much as the next guy that’s just really unnecessarily disrespectful and doesn’t do us any favours, if we beat them today it’s because we’re that good, not even remotely because they’ve been bad, they really haven’t.

Daveo

I think you’re confusing this team with past teams. And seriously… Fuck sp**s.

Ebo

I think you’re not understanding what I’m saying. That goal by Spurs is exactly the warning shot why you shouldn’t say these things at half time even if I am absolutely *not* confusing this team with past teams.

Dr. Gooner

I think we’ve played better than them. Game state dictates that they have to be aggressive, so they have all this possession and will likely end up with more shots as well. When you score 3 away from home (and have the Newcastle template) it’s an easy decision to just deny them space and let them have the ball. The left hand side is a slight worry. Trossard is working hard but not making good decisions on either side of the ball. Tomiyasu hasn’t been able to win his duels against Kulusevski. But the team structure is such that it… Read more »

Ebo

Set plays or forays behind or our mistakes, yes!

As I said we’ve not been *significantly* better, you could definitely argue we’ve been better in out relative control of how the game is being played but the margin hasn’t been big, certainly not 3-0 big. That’s mainly down to our ruthless mentality imo. They had plenty of the ball and some chances before we scored too…

Ebo

Ruthless mentality, physical dominance and set piece expertise you could probably add… Ben White tickling their goalkeeper’s elbow before their own goal is an instant classic 😅

Ebo

Speaking of mistakes… 😬😖

Daveo

Never in doubt! 😉

Ebo

Hahaha lucky for you mate 😉 would’ve sent the mob after you for jinxing it!

Daveo

Agree with all this except that I think trossard has been great, particularly defensively.

Eric Blair

Mashed spuds for tea please.

Daveo

Smart call. Need more counter attacking proof against these chumps (same against manure). I expect we’ll see a lot of this team the rest of the way. COYG let’s get ‘er done!

Henkamp

Not questioning the gaffer, but don’t you think Martinelli would be our most lethal weapon for the counter and should start?

Was thinking he would get a start today.

Cooljones

I love Martinelli but he has been playing like the Brazilian Dan James this season , Trossard is miles ahead on form
.

Daveo

I believe in tross and he’s earned it. Quality half from him, he’s working really hard.

Ebo

Tomi still not fully in form, him and Tross on the left and Partey in the middle have given us the only shakey moments weve had so far, mostly by dallying. But probably still a slightly better option than Kiwior. Jorgi I think should see some significant minutes for Partey in the 2nd half, at 3-0 up his calmness and distribution out of pressure will help us immensely.

Man Manny

3 points puts Liverpool out of contention, puts City under pressure and makes today St. Totteringham’s day.
3 points, please.

Vieiraera

As expected! Thanks MA! Consistency. Solid bench. We’re winning this.

Cannon and ball and arsen’all

That’s the team I wanted to see. Spuds pretty much full strength, but we are stronger 💪

Up4GrabsNow!

The Chicken on a Basketball team will be rusty and brain-dead from two weeks of listening to “Mate-isms”. 3-1 us.

No foot Norbert

The 1 is their obligatory penalty

PeanutGunner

Cock-Ball team…

TeeCee

That crest really does sum up sp*rs.
It’s a rotational fowl.
(I’ll get my own coat, thanks)

Paul

Bring on St Tott’s day.

Dr. Gooner

First we have to master the emotion of the derby, the hostile environment, the high stakes at hand. Those things have to energize the players in a positive way. I watched that home game back. It was a weaker team than we will field tomorrow, with starts for Vieira and Nketiah and Zinchenko at left back while they had everyone and at that point they were undefeated and Ange was being anointed their latest Messiah. Then, Rice had to go off at halftime and we conceded a second from an individual mistake by Jorginho, who was making his first appearance… Read more »

Vieiraera

Bentancur and hojberg in for Sarr and Bissouma. Seems big ange has less appetite for gung ho football today. It’d be interesting.

TeeCee

Gung ho football?
I prefer to think of it as just rehashed Keeganball myself.

Henkamp

Yeah, seeing Hojberg is an indication that we probably won’t see the madcap Spurs that got picked apart ruthlessly by Fulham and Newcastle. A bit worried.

Daveo

Nice goal by hojberg though, gotta credit the Aussie gaffer for that one!

Henkamp

Don’t worry, man. I knew EXACTLY what I was doing — I promise ya.

TotsOfJack

I was hoping for Martinelli in this one. But let’s go.

yes

The Villa game showed the importance of having options on the bench. I’m sure he’ll play a part.

Spud masher

Let’s do these cunts

Alex

Football is getting far too exciting

CommunistGunner

Interesting to see Partey starting. I thought blogs was right about us being open in midfield against Chelsea. But let’s hope it is better now, I really like Partey. COYG!

Doghouse

A strong attacking line up, more of the same please like our last game, they are well rested and need to win aswell so expect a feisty game, cool heads needed as spuds fans will be going mental at ref for pens, fouls etc.. Romero is likely to make a few rash challenges like he does at home and gets away with it usually, don’t know who ref is but needs to be up to it this game

Oddo

Arsenal for a big win

Teryima Adi

Let’s beat them. COYG!!!!

Grimmjow

Going to be a tough one.
Honestly won’t be sad with 1 point

PB70

I get your sentiment. But for the T-115 machine City are, we need all 3 points. Also, who needs a douche spud claiming they denied us the title. I’m not even from the UK but the internet has transmitted the total disdain you UK based fans feel for those asshats. Fuck them!

Win, or bust! Letzzzzz do this!

FMT

Oh my! I’m tensed. There is too much at stake 😬
Guys let’s do this!

truj

Granit Saka

Henkamp

Why do we like shooting ourselves in the foot, ffs?!!! WHY do we f*cking do this all the time?!

truj

Never in doubt

Henkamp

Still, I am mad. That first half was perfect for our GD (in case City drop a point and it comes down to that), the table etc. Why not just hoor the ball forward there? Glad we came through it, but we have got to erase these moments.
