When he was around 16 years old, Kido Taylor-Hart was seen as one of the standout prospects in the Arsenal academy.
Since then the youngster’s development hasn’t quite gone to plan, with injuries not helping his cause, while other prospects at the club have been given greater opportunities at youth level.
It is clear, though, that Taylor-Hart remains a talented player, especially with regards to his technical ability.
After a spell with Derby County’s U21 side in the second half of last season, the 21-year-old has spent this campaign on loan at National League side Bromley along with fellow Arsenal youngster Alex Kirk.
While Kirk has been a regular in the team, the same cannot be said for Taylor-Hart, who has started just two league games this season.
However, on Monday there was a significant moment for Taylor-Hart as he came off the bench against Woking to score a late equaliser in stoppage time.
It was Taylor-Hart’s first senior goal and the youngster, who usually plays as a right winger, will now hope for further opportunities.
Bromley are chasing promotion and could be involved in the end of season play-offs, so it could be an eventful conclusion to the campaign for Taylor-Hart.
It remains to be seen what will happen with Taylor-Hart next season but he may well have to end his long association with Arsenal in order to play regularly elsewhere.
If he can finish the season strongly then there will surely be a significant number of clubs that are interested in signing him.

Actually, not really a kido anymore.
He’s 21 – that’s still a Kido in my book!
Having that name makes one a Kido at whatever age 🙂
