Arsenal Women defender Lotte Wubben-Moy has been voted as Arsenal Women’s Mastercard Player of the Season, voted for by Arsenal fans.
The Gunners defender, who came through the Arsenal academy before going to college in North Carolina and returning to the club in 2020, has enjoyed an excellent season at the heart of the Arsenal defence.
The Hackney native held the defence together following the departure of Rafaelle and the injury to Leah Williamson last season and has shone in their absence. Rachel Daly, Sam Kerr and Bunny Shaw have all failed to score against Arsenal teams featuring Wubben-Moy.
Everyone at Arseblog News congratulates Lotte on her deserved award.
Well deserved, well done Lotte!
100%. She has been superb.
She stepped up and took responsibility when needed. Leah and LWM can be first choice centre back pairing for seasons to come!
For England too!
Excellent news. Well done Lotte and also well done fans for making the choice.
Congratulations to LWM. Absolute shoo-in. I’ve seen this article on the BBC website which details just how much she has put into her improvement.
