Katie McCabe and Laia Codina will wear new squad numbers for the 2024-25 season. McCabe has worn the number 15 since she arrived at the club in 2015, but with the departure of Vivianne Miedema, McCabe will take the number 11 shirt that she also wears for Ireland.

Meanwhile, Laia Codina, who signed last summer from Barcelona and took the number 27 shirt, moves to number 5 following the departure of Jen Beattie to Bay FC in February.
McCabe joins Rachel Yankey, Carla Humphrey and Vivianne Miedema in wearing the number 11 shirt in the WSL era. Meanwhile, Codina joins Gilly Flaherty, Casey Stoney, Josy Henning and Jen Beattie in wearing number 5 in the WSL for Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Stina Blackstenius is not in Sweden’s squad for their July Euro 2025 qualifiers against England due to a hip injury that kept her out of the June qualifiers. She is expected to report for pre-season training as normal.

Yes, I like what I saw of her in the second half of the season, I think injuries and the form of Lotte stopped her showing us her best in the first half of the season (as well as adapting to a new league and country!)
I feel like conti cup final was a huge turning point. I think she was really good there, and it did her confidence a lot of good

Now Earps is out of the equation we’d better hope the DvD2 deal comes off! Can someone think of a reason why we should let Dom Janssen go to Utd on a freebe when we could do with some solid midfield back up? After all Utd players are jumping the INEOS ship at the moment and have just been booted of their ground in favour of rebuilding the men’s team.
