Lacasse, Fox, Foord, Catley, Cooney-Cross all confirmed for the 2024 Olympics

Canada have confirmed that Arsenal winger Cloé Lacasse has made the cut for their 18-strong squad for the Olympic Games in France this summer. She will join club mates Emily Fox, called up for the US and Australian trio Steph Catley, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Caitlin Foord.

Meanwhile, Laia Codina has been called into the provisional 26 player squad for Spain, as has Mariona Caldentey who will be joining the club this summer. Spain will submit their final 18-strong squad on Wednesday. Meanwhile, elsewhere, UEFA has a ridiculously scheduled Euro 2025 qualifier double header in July.

Alessia Russo, Beth Mead and Leah Williamson are in the England squad for the Lionesses’ games against Republic or Ireland and Sweden. Lotte Wubben-Moy has pulled out due to a foot injury that kept her out of the June internationals as well as the last few games of the season. Wubben-Moy is close to a full recovery and is currently expected to report for pre-season training at the end of June.

I already posted a comment on an old thread so no one saw it! 🙂 Cannot believe we would let Dom go to Utd unless of course she has refused to come back!
