Arsenal Women in talks to sign Rosa Kafaji from Hacken

Arseblog News can reveal that Arsenal Women are currently in talks to sign 21-year-old Swedish attacking midfielder Rosa Kafaji from Hacken.

Kafaji, who has nine caps for Sweden, shone for Hacken in the Champions League last season against Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.

An attacking midfielder, Kafaji is seen as the heir to Kosavore Asllani in the Swedish national team and performed well from the bench against England recently.

According to our information, Chelsea, Lyon and Barcelona also have interest in the player but Arsenal are currently favourites to secure her signature. The Gunners have already added Spain attacking midfielder Mariona Caldentey from Barcelona and Dutch international goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar from Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.

As a resident of Swede-land, I can say that Rosa is *the* current wunderkind / pearl in the new generation of Swedish players. Would be a coup.

Also a resident in somehow-often-mistaken-for-Switzerland, I would like to point out a little typo: Rosa is seen as the heir to Kosovare* Asllani, nowadays playing in London City Lionesses(!)

As a resident of Nigeria, I have seen her performance in the UWCL last season and can testify that Kafaji is the real deal😍😍

This is exciting!

What a nice day to be a gooner!! One of the stand-out player in the UWCL last season with her versatility, guile, pace, take-ons and eyes for screamers💃🏾

Alex

Will she be a “stop gap” signing to make up the numbers or is she a starting 11 signing? Wondering what this means for 21 year old Kuhl.

Gunner H

Oh no, I want to see KK in the Arsenal shirt this season.

Unblock me on Twitter, Tim. I’m sorry! I’m missing out on your content so much 😭

Let’s make sure we don’t make the same mistakes as we did with Gio, anyway.

Wow! This is great news. I’ve been wondering where Kafaji would go, she has tons of talent. If Arsenal could sign her it would be a amazing, just hope she would get game time or a loan where she would. But as she showed in Champions league, she can already play and make a difference against the very best teams in the world.

Kafaji is in London and will probably be announced for Arsenal tomorrow according to ”GP”🤩
Kafaji and Mariona are that kind of players we didnt have last season. They are without a doubt two of the most technically gifted players in wsl and most important, they can release our wingers and strikers with smart passes.
I just hoping that Jonas is capable of getting out the best of them.

Cross my fingers for Fox and that she is okey. Didnt look like an ACL to me but what do I know?!

Welcome to the Arsenal, Rosa Kafaji!
Exciting signing. I’ve been watching her since last summer, thinking she was unlucky to be behind Asllani in the pecking order. She seems to make a difference every time she comes on.

Fun Gunner

Bit previous, I know.

Tbh Kafaji is far better than Asllani these days. But as you know its hard to bench a living legend like Asllani. Just like Wiegman never will bench Bright, Williamson or Mead because of what they did in the Euros.

I can only see one scenario here. Mariona-Kafaji-Russo/Blackstenius-Mead, that will be our starting front four when everyone is up and running. A lot more dynamic and unpredictable then last season👍

Good positional rotation possibilities

Christopher

Can anyone confirm if we have signed the Swedish midfielder Rosa Kafaji as I have not seen any confirmation yet.
