Andre Harriman-Annous continues to impress for Arsenal U18s

Arsenal U18s were involved in another hugely entertaining game yesterday as they drew 3-3 away to Brighton.

Jack Wilshere’s side trailed by two goals before eventually taking the lead but Birghton scored an equaliser in stoppage time.

Andre Harriman-Annous made a significant impact for Arsenal, with the 16-year-old scoring a hat-trick to continue his superb start to the season.

Harriman-Annous is capable of playing in various midfield and attacking positions but he has mainly been used as a striker so far this campaign following the departure of Chido Martin Obi.

As well as finding the net with regularity – he has scored seven goals for the U18s this season – Harriman-Annous has also impressed with his link-up play.

The prospect was an unused substitute against Leyton Orient in the EFL Trophy but it surely won’t be too long until he features prominently at higher levels.

Arsenal U19s will be looking for the first win of their UEFA Youth League campaign when they host Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, with Harriman-Annous having surely put himself in contention to feature in that fixture.

On Friday night Arsenal U21s struggled in their defeat to Liverpool, with the absence of striker Khayon Edwards through suspension a key issue.

Salah-Eddine, who usually plays in midfield, was deployed up front and although he had some encouraging moments Arsenal lacked presence up front.

Harriman-Annous has now shown that he could be of great use to the U21s, who face Tottenham at home next weekend.
