After the 5-1 win over Bolton in the Carabao Cup this evening, the draw for the 4th round was made a pair of idiots on Sky Sports.
The Gunners will play Preston away from home.
Carabao Cup 4th round draw
Brentford v Sheffield Wednesday
Southampton v Stoke
Sp*rs v Man City
AFC Wimbledon/Newcastle v Chelsea
Man Utd v Leicester
Brighton v Liverpool
Preston v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace
More playing time for Jack Porter!
Not necessarily as Tommy Setford could be fit as well as Raya of course
Martin, I bet you sellotape breadcrumbs to windows don’t you?
So one mustn’t be realistic. The chances of Jack Porter playing away at PNE is negligible.
Preston away, reckon we need all our best players to be fit to have any chance…..
Your sarcasm is apparently lost on many here mate.
More the arrogant dismissive tone I think. We’re better than that.
Lovely draw! Bring on the boys again!
LOVELY! Obviously, we can’t underestimate them… but I think it’s beena looooong time we have had successive relatively easy draws like this.
Find a way to get to the Semis and I fancy our chances. Who knows what hunger a first trophy together will unlock for this group?
Spurs – City – ha ha
Sp*rs “fans” will be in turmoil not knowing if they want to win or lose.
Sp*rs: “Oooh, we’re competing for a trophy!”
Fate: “Yeah, like *that’s* going to happen on my watch.” [bitchslap]
more like “oh wait, if we beat City that might help Arsenal win a trophy! Let’s not cheer for our players and make sure they don’t play hard!”
Let’s hope they at least go out and kick Citeh all over the pitch. A few of those cheats limping off would be funny.
Ange says they will def win a trophy this year……well that’s 2 out of 4 not happening
Maybe Sp*rs will play a halt against City with ten men and show us all how it’s meant to be done…
As a massive Arsenal fan and current PNE season ticket holder, I must say I’m overjoyed with that draw!
Enjoy what will be a memorable day! I’ve been living in Sweden since 2009, and when Arsenal drew Östersund (where my mom and her family live and I lived my first year here) I was overjoyed. I got off work to see the first leg and, despite the freezing temperatures, it was an unforgettable experience!
Fabulous! Care to give us the scoop on your hometown club?
Adopted home town (moved here 6 years ago as my Wife is from Preston, I’m from Hertfordshire- Arsenal heartlands!). Started the season an absolute shambles, manager Ryan Lowe quit after the first match. Brought in Paul Heckingbottom who has improved the atmosphere and the attitude of the team no end. The side are pretty solid now, typical bunch of Championship slow cloggers at the back, with a couple of solid defensive midfielders in front of them. Then interestingly quite a lot of flair in attacking midfield, currently playing with basically 3 x number 10’s behind a striker (likely to be… Read more »
No truth to the rumour that Luis Suarez has been coaching Osmajic?
Awesome! Thanks for the scouting report!
Time to avenge ESR, Nelson and Iwobi.
The lads at Fulham? Am I missing something?
Wondering the same
They beat Fulham on penalties in the last round
Shouldn’t underestimate them I guess?
Can’t say I saw the game. I think you should respect every opponent but they sit 21st in the Championship so it was more likely that they got the rub of the green as happens not infrequently in the sport.
Ho-ho! More minutes for the youngsters at the time of procession methinks!
Finally some easier draws to give the starters some rest.
Arsenal… employing the dark arts to get an easy draw.
put your feet up lads.
That is a sweet draw for us
The Invincibles derby.
Nice history reference! I forgot about that.
Ah, I live in Preston! I will need to get a ticket and finally see The Arsenal play in person.
