Date set for Bolton visit

Arsenal’s Carabao Cup tie with Bolton will be played on Wednesday 25 September at Emirates Stadium.

The match will kick off at 7.45pm and doesn’t appear to have been selected for broadcast which could make finding a stream a bit tricky will be available to watch on new streaming platform Sky Sports +.

Those interested in attending the match in person should note that ticket prices for the competition, previously £10 lower tier and £20 upper tier for adults, have been increased to £20 lower tier and £30 upper tier. Concession tickets start at £10. See here for more details.

The price increases were due to come into effect last season but the Gunners were drawn away against Brentford and West Ham.

The Trotters visit to N5 will come after a tough trio of away fixtures against Sp*rs, Atalanta and Manchester City. Given the hectic schedule, we can expect Mikel Arteta will look to rotate which could mean game time for some of our academy prospects. No doubt, it’ll depend on how we fare in the 10 days before.

Got to be Sterling surely

Heavenly Chapecoense

Agree but Sterling can also replace Martinelli in the CL or Saka in the PL for “easy” games.

David Hillier's luggage

The U21s (without Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly, Heaven and Nichols) did well against similar level of opposition last night. Would be nice to see some of them used against Bolton with a sprinkling of experience players (eg Jorginho, Tomiyasu or Tierney if fit). Really don’t want to see the likes of Rice, Saka or Odegaard on the bench, or Raya starting due to a lack of an experienced 3rd keeper.

Hopefully we get a chance to see Setford since Neto is cup-tied.

Gervinho is Driving

Let’s go out of this pointless competition ASAP
