Frida Maanum starts behind the striker for Arsenal in their UWCL qualifier against Glasgow Rangers at Meadow Park this evening. Laia Codina also gets the nod alongside Leah Williamson at centre-half.
Manu Zinsberger starts in goal with Fox and McCabe as full-backs either side of Williamson and Codina. Kim Little and Kyra Cooney-Cross start in the midfield double pivot. Caitlin Foord is on the right and Mariona on the left with Alessia Russo upfront.
Lotte Wubben-Moy and Daphne van Domselaar are back on the bench. If Arsenal win tonight, they play Rosenborg on Saturday evening for the right to get into the two legged playoff round ahead of the group stages. If they lose, they will play Atletico Madrid for nothing more than coefficient points on Saturday lunchtime. Either game will be at Meadow Park.

Only thing you got wrong in predicted lineup was Viv Lia being on the bench
I know Foord divides opinion here (and no one would deny her varying form last season), but I think she’s great at carving open lower league teams. She’s usually got the beating of most fullbacks outside the top clubs, she’s a bit of a flat track bully in that respect. If only her end product (crosses, cutbacks, shots) matched her dribbling though.
And as if by magic, she scores a great header at the back post! Not sure that vindicates me mind…
