Best we could have hoped for I guess. Could have had Kiwior in at LB and switched Timber over to stop Robertson down their left, but at the expense of who…… Trossard or Merino maybe?

Well, it’s not like these guys haven’t all played in these positions. We are not asking them to do anything new. White was signed as a RCB, where he’s played most of his career, and played a full season for us there before Saliba. He’s had two seasons at FB now, but CB is still his most natural position. TP has played RB many times for Arsenal and for Atletico before that. Timber has been deployed at LB most often for Arsenal. Anyone else other than Arsenal and that (Kiwior was it) header for what would have been the winner would have been because they “just wanted it more”.
