Manu Zinsberger, Lia Walti and Leah Williamson are restored to the starting line-up for Arsenal’s opening UWCL group game away at Bayern Munich this evening. Stina Blackstenius also leads the line upfront.
Zinsberger starts in goal with Emily Fox, Leah Williamson, Laia Codina and Katie McCabe completing the back line, Lotte Wubben-Moy drops to the bench. Kim Little and Lia Walti are in the midfield double pivot with Frida Maanum ahead of them.
Caitlin Foord starts on the right with Beth Mead dropping to the bench with Mariona on the left and Stina Blackstenius upfront.

With this 4-1-4-1 tactical formation, I feel that our defense is very exposed, I don’t know, I hope it works out. They’ll have to pull a rabbit out of the hat during the game.

Through a gaming app and before starting the game on DAZN, the formation to be used appears, however I noticed that Jonas changed to other formations during the game.
Not surprised to see Stina starting.
She could put every chance into row z and Jonas would still pick her.
