The dates for Arsenal’s last-16 clash with PSV Eindhoven have been confirmed following this morning’s draw by Uefa.
Arsenal will head to the Philips Stadion on Tuesday 4 March before hosting the Dutch side at the Emirates on Wednesday 12 March.
As reported earlier, the prize for whoever comes out on top will be a mouthwatering quarter-final with either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.
Reflecting on the draw, Martin Keown, who was sent to represent the club at Uefa HQ in Switzerland, said: “We know it’ll be a tough game. After watching them in the play-off round against Juventus I thought they were quite outstanding. It was interesting that Ivan Persic is getting on in years but he played really well in the second leg, and Noah Lang was also outstanding, so it’s a difficult opponent.
“We have experience of them as we played them last year but we have to be confident going into these games because our record in the Champions League is six wins from eight and four of those at home so we make for quite the formidable opponent. No one really wants to play against Arsenal that’s for sure.”
What Keown says is true. We’re not an easy opponent for anyone anymore.
Real Madrid are terrified.
Of Atletico?
I think Atletico is actually Reals achilles with their style of play.

Nice to be competitive again.
Hope we twist them at the Philips Stadion like a Philips screwdriver. Mash them like a Philips blender. Cook them like a Philips air fryer. Then we could rest some players back home so they don’t have to go through those Philips MRI machines.
😂😂 you been going round the Philips museum about half a mile away from the stadium??
Time again for one of our favourite chants….I know it’s only PSV but I like it, like it, yes I do.
