Agree 100%. Despite the injuries up front, we have a very strong back 5 and midfield to get us through games. Siege mentality time!
I like this, disrupt the base of our team as little as possible, only front three have changed. Our defense and midfield should hopefully get us a clean sheet, and the front three just need to score or create one goal between them. COYG

I’m not pessimistic about our situation. I’m gutted and angry but also proud of what we have. An excellent spine and some raw talent coming through with real steel! We are growing something and I feel like we need a couple heads to add to the dragon! So to speak. Keep momentum and build belief, hoping Sterling surprises me and Nwaneri keeps building. 3 points. At least we have plenty of defensive options on the bench (6 out of the 8 field subs are defenders, must be a record number). Just hope Sterling shows up today. Great to see White back in the squad.

Trossard is just as bad if not worse. Put butler on for Trossard and Tierney for Sterling. Any positivity I had has completely evaporated watching Trossard and Sterling. Unless our 17 year old pulls a rabbit out the hat we will be lucky to still be in top four in 6 weeks time
Thr offside count alone is criminal, wouldn’t mind if they were just offside in a dangerous area but their offside hogging the touchline 30 yards from goal, its embarrassing
Toward will do better from the left flank. Arteta should put any body in the middle, move Trossard to the left and can Sterling. Jeez!🙄

Well, half-time and this is worse than expected. Sterling is disinterested and both him and Trossard don’t understand the offside rule. This isn’t the answer, but will Arteta be proactive and change or give it 3 more games to work? We haven’t got 3 games to make it work!

Sterling needs to come off and let trossard move back to LW. Sterling is slowing everything and everyone down. At this point hook Sterling and put new boy on as a ST and take your chances. Another option is Jorghino on, Trossard LW and Ødegaard as false 9 simply because he’s good on the ball and can hold up play up top. 3rd option is Calafiori on and move Lewis-skelly at LW but for gods sake take Sterling off.
