In the U-21 akpom is actually outstanding! Even when he’s restricted from play he’s still eye catching… I actually prefer him to sanogo… But COYG!!!!
I wanted him over Sanogo as well, I remember when he came back from loan and scored the hattrick against West Ham United. Sanogo might be better for us in the future, but Akpom is less “raw” than Sanogo IMO.
But then again, it’s a semifinal, you can’t risk it. There are other factors that come into play, like whether Akpom can handle the pressure of a big game suddenly (Sanogo can), and the fact that Sanogo trains with the first team but Akpom doesn’t, etc.
Let’s just hope for the best and maybe Sanogo will score the winner. 🙂

Hmm… Podolski and Cazorla on the wings has been a terrible tactic in recent games. We always look exposed at full back as a result which allows for any team who know how to run and cross to threaten us at will. What will be different with our shape today?
