Aaron Ramsey has played down the idea that he might miss Saturday’s game with Man City, but admitted he did do himself some damage against Andorra last night.
The midfielder went over his ankle late in the game, but he’s hopeful that the injury isn’t serious enough to prevent him facing the defending champions at the Emirates.
“I’ll be alright,” he said. “The pitch was very hard there’s no give in it so I rolled my ankle a bit. Hopefully it will be nothing and I’ll be available for Saturday.
“These are the games you want to play in and I’m looking forward to it.”
Despite not hitting the heights of his performances from last season, Ramsey is the top scorer thus far with three goals from six games, and against City’s dynamic midfield his loss would be a big blow for the Gunners.
Let’s hope Shad lays some hands on him on his return and Ramsey will be all like ‘Hey, I’m the Welsh Jesus’ so he heals himself and turns Man City’s water into wine on the day so all their players are drunk.
And on the third day, he shall rise again.
Because he is the Welsh Jesus!!

It just shows how much his stock has risen when we are so happy that he is fit to play. Wenger has patience with players when we often have doubts. This is why I am confident Sanogo will come good but I am glad that we have bought Welbeck as it will lift some of the pressure from the young lad.
Hope Rambo turns out on Saturday! He is immense.
