Arsene Wenger says that he tries not to listen to the chants of Stoke fans when they sing songs that reference Aaron Ramsey having his leg snapped in two by Ryan Shawcross.
The enmity that has grown from that incident in 2010 is obvious every time Arsenal play at the Britannia, and yesterday Stoke supports gleefully sang about the Welshman throughout the game:

Afterwards, the Arsenal manager was asked about what was being chanted, and he said the best course of action was to try and ignore it.
“I don’t listen too much, I focus on the game,” he said. “I shut my ears and that is the best way to deal with it. I don’t know what to do about it and I have no influence over it.
“I don’t really know what they should do about it. When they get together sometimes they forget that individual responsibility. Maybe when you go home and watch it on television, you will be less proud.”
While we’re all into the pantomime of football, and having villains is part and parcel of the game, Stoke fans continued aggression towards a player who, at 19, suffered a potentially career threatening injury really does reflect poorly on those that choose to join in with that particular chant.
I wish Pulis took them down in his last season there or maybe Mark Hughes can do the honours in a season or so.
The annoying thing is they won’t go down due to their home form. They’ll just be that constant pain in the arse every season.
We should be allowed a midfield of Gattuso, Nigel de jong, and the headbutt version of Zidane (considering we’re still Arsenal and need class) at their prime for the stoke game. Maybe that’s what I’ll create on a football videogame I don’t own yet.

I was singing about what a good player Shawcross was, even though I was rooting against him and he actually sucks, it just seemed the sporting thing to do.
Sparky has a fairly consistent record of getting teams relegated. So I think he is more then capable of doing the whole EPL a favour and sinking Stoke too. If you watched the Serbian broadcast like I did yesterday, you will have noticed that Stoke had a player called Villain in their midfield.
The irony being that was, presumably, Whelan who is a decent bloke and gave Ramsey first aid treatment when he was nearly passing out after Shawcross snapped his leg. Probably the only Stoke remnant from that era who I don’t loathe.
