Only minor annoyance with the line-up (and nothing against hfb), is that Welbeck’s left out, as aside from him, that entire front six is the line-up I can see us going with in the absence of Ramsey. Would have liked to see how it would have done today with Welbeck in there too, who seems to bring the best out of the players around him when he plays. Nonetheless, a confident Giroud will be huge for the last few games, so let’s hope he gets on the score sheet today. COYG!
He might be keeping him fresh for Barcelona
Mr Welbeck has important matters to attend to. Barcelona and the other teams require his undivided attention hence the Watford situation is left to care of others players.

That’s a nicely balanced midfield but maybe Welbeck might’ve started for a bit more pace up top. Still if the right Arsenal turn up it should be a very difficult afternoon for Watford.
It gives me the impression that the manager realises that the champions league is not a priority as it is a lost cause,which is good. We need to concentrate on competitions where we have a chance of winning. Hope we put them to the sword early so that the boys don’t get tired. We need to ensure that the result with Barcelona is respectable which ever way it goes.

Per and Gabriel will have their work cut out for them against Ighalo and Deeney, let’s hope we can build and improve on the Hull performance. It may be a cup tie so the win is all that counts but it would be nice to get some confidence back by playing well.

I’m looking forward to seeing what Chambers can do. This is the time for him to shine. He only has to look at Campbell and the progress he’s made this season! Should be an exciting game.

Good to see Elneny and Coquelin being utilised…the pros and cons of injuries I suppose. I guess Wenger’s hoping Giroud has the confidence to keep up the scoring same with Sanchez. Let’s hope Per and Gab can build on recent performances and create a better understanding.

Barca won 6-0 yesterday and Everton beat Chelsea too. Should be a fun week playing those two away given we can’t handle Watford at home.

Wenger’s done. No quality in the market on top of what we have? Fuck that shit. The FA Cup would be compensation on losing out on the league but that’s also gone. League looks tough and my heart wants to hope but my head knows Wenger has royally fucked it up again. Year after year he comes up short in the transfer windows, his tactics get find out, can’t change formations and forcing players playing out of position, he doesn’t rotate unless for injury.
