Iwobi playmaker?

ClockEndRider

No Ozil?

Jonathon Hagerty

Hip injury

loose_cannon

No subs either O.o

Glocken

Instant questions on this selection –

1) Is Ozil injured or just disillusioned?

2) 4-4-2? Nice, about time we tried something different t.

3) Fuck me, not Giroud again!

Discuss

the american

nope, will be 4-2-3-1 still. welbz will be on the right, iwobi in the 10 role, alexis off the left. olivier up top.

The Gooch

Be very surprised if he plays 442

Glocken

Agree, think AW might play Sanchez behind Giroud. Either way it’s going to be a lot of work for Elneny and Ramsey.

moonie

Giroud. Why? Just Why? Mr. Lamp post up front AGAIN.
You know what, who gives a shit at this point.
COYG.

Look at me hector

I love lamp

Pearson

I hope it (Giroud) works with Wellback, besides, Wilshere and Cazorla back in squad, I hope we are good today cos sp*rs bottled it again

Tom Thumb

4-4-2 or welbeck on the wing?

Bob Davis

I hope Ozil is not injured. No subs listed. A nice 4-0 win would be great!

By the way, the Saints are leading Sh*ts by 2 goals to win.

Come on you Saints and COYG!

Richard

I hope he is, if he’s not injured and he’s not in the squad, we’re fcked.

Arsene's zip

We should just win this one 14-0, get St Totters day in the bag today.

Bob Davis

That’s the spirit!

Emmett

Looks like it will be extremely tough for us not to finish above Tottenham

Third Plebeian

Tottenham will finish 2nd on goal difference, I’d wager. How fucking terrible is that?

goonero

Any word on what’s kept Ozil out the squad?

Goon

Ozil out with slight hip injury.

ArthriticKnee

So our only real ball players in the squad are Elneny and Iwobi? The former is tidy, but not too creative, whilst the latter one is still young and inexperienced.

It’s not gonna be a beauty today, that’s for sure. I would be happy with draw, but now that Sp*rs are losing with 10 minutes to go…

Belfast Gooner

442 isnt dead! I would have Wilshere in at 10 and Giroud would be back on the bus with Rob the Chef prparing the sausage rolls for the trip home!

Le Jim

Holy Jesus. I really hope Mesut is back to lay on about five assists against Villa, because I’m gonna be bloody pissed if he doesn’t break that record.

Imagine how frustrating it would be to be absolutely world class, only to be let down by the finishing of those around you.

Al Gilmore

Giroud had one of his best games for us in this fixture last season. He is badly out of form but hopefully can at least provide a platform for Alexis and Welbeck to get after this shaky Citeh back line.

Gunnerwinalot

I suspect Iwobi will be given Özil role with Wellbeck & Sanchez starting wide.

The Gooch

Is it a civil partnership or are Wenger and Ramsey actually married

Eyob

I must say I am not happy that Alexis started. I can tolerate a year long poor form but not the shit he pulled last time. Who the fuck did he think he is?!

Shitbird

He’s fucking Alexis Sanchez, that’s who.

goonero

He’d never get away with that in Spain or Germany. Media and fans would rightly crucify him. I lost a lot of respect for him reading that story. I want him to stay but if he’s going to act like a primadona thinking he’s too big for the club I’d rather see him sold.

Richard

I agree in principle, but it’s not like he’s gone public with his disappointment. Okay he didn’t join his teammates on the bench after being substituted, shit happens. He’s right to be disappointed with the team after its recent form, but firstly he should take a long hard look at himself. I’m pretty sure there are no huge problems, but for sure he won’t stay with us unless next season there’s a serious improvement in our consistency.

bazza-wicks

when you look at our bench there is quality even given walcotts pace and finishing a game changer there for sure if needed, the team looks solid on paper, keep aguero & de bruyne quiet i think we can nick this one

Omg

Of course it is not 442. Just Danny and Alexis on the wings…

gunner pundit

We might finish above Tottenham.

Gooner28

Spuds loose!! COYG!! Time to step up and go for 2nd!

MrMedia

They have a pumped Newcastle boys to try and beat yet. Hmmm.

Shitbird

Regardless of whether you give a shit about catching Spurs, it would be a hilarious if we win here today and then next week word comes down from the North that it’s 1-1 at Newcastle.

Alexstratz

I hope Sunderland lose and Norwich win on Wednesday. This will make the relegation battle more interesting on the last day and Newcastle will have to give everything against Spurs. Of course all this means nothing if we can’t get a result against City.

Paul

If Spuds lose to Newcastle a draw against Citeh today and a win against Villa will do it!
It’s going to “happen again” fucking hilarious!

Frank

Why is the Coq not in alongside Elneny? He always plays well against City

Paul

This is a good game!

Shubham

Terrible performance but a good point. The lads can’t seem to be arsed. We should have slaughtered City but managed to just hang on. What a shame.Cech, Kos and Ramsey were piss poor. I wonder how Petr gets done on the near post so often. God help the club

AFC

I have a theory, due to his previous head injury, he is now affraid of the posts!
