I’m really excited about Shkodran! He’s a World cup winner and an established CB in a quality side. Its a little difficult to believe that we spent 35 Mill on a defender though, remember when City did that with Mangala and he turned out to be shit. Hahahaha.
He’s young and along with Kos should form a very very formidable defense for the next few years. Hopefully Holding or Chambers will be good enough to take over from Kos by then. With Cech in goal, let the Clean Sheets rain!!!!
Captaining his side at younger age says a lot about his quality, the same goes for Xhaka, and probably Holding too, the premier league needs skills strength and ability, but it needs character to thrive as a player and drive your team to glory.
Future is bright at arsenal.
I think the fact that he speaks English, German and spanish is underrated for a guy who has experience in the captain role. I think Koscielny, Mustafi, Gabriel, Holding, Chambers is good for now and for the future.
He does slide quite much. With the space we leave in behind, that could result in lots of pens and red cards. Hopefully an excellent partner for Koscielny.
