Alexis Sanchez has returned to London after illness delayed his trip from Chile.
The forward was on an extended break following his Confederations Cup exploits, and was due back on Sunday. However, he informed Arsene Wenger via text that he was unwell and the Arsenal manager permitted his late arrival back.
It naturally led to speculation about his future, in the wake of links to Man City and PSG, but Sanchez has rather cheerfully announced his return to England via his Instagram account.
He posted a picture of himself with dogs Atom and Humber in front of the private jet that flew him from Santiago overnight.
The 28 year old traveled with a friend who is also a lawyer, which may or may not mean something as the discussions over his future continue.
Fans shouldn’t worry though, as Arsenal have their own crack team of legal eagles on hand to deal with the situation.
Alexis is due back in training this week where he’ll be assessed ahead of the start of the new season next Friday.

Lets hope our midfield chop in with a few goals this season. We need more goals from the Ox and Ozil, and players like welbeck to chip in with more goals so we are not over reliant on any 1 individual
