Arsenal have a host of talented youngsters on their books at present and schoolboy Kido Taylor-Hart is certainly amongst them.
The youngster is still a member of the U16 squad but he featured for the U18s earlier in the campaign and seems set to sign scholarship terms with the club in the summer.
Excellent technically, Taylor-Hart can play as a winger or a central midfielder and has scored some spectacular goals at U16 level this campaign, frequently charging forwards to devastating effect.
The 16-year-old has already demonstrated that he is capable of impressing for the U18s, as demonstrated by the fact that he found the net in a 4-2 victory over Aston Villa in August.
It has been difficult for Taylor-Hart to get back involved with the U18 setup in recent months as coach Ken Gillard currently has many different options available to him.
Next season, however, chances will surely come Taylor-Hart’s way and, given the undoubted quality that he possesses, it wouldn’t be surprising if he was to seize them.
Some schoolboys, such as Yunus Musah and Miguel Azeez, have already been heavily involved with the U18s this season and it seems that there are lots of other prospects ready to make the step up when the opportunity arises, with Taylor-Hart amongst them.
Between now and the end of the season Taylor-Hart will be seeking to continue progressing for the U16s and perhaps even make another appearance for the U18s.
Next season the real hard work will begin for him as he starts training at London Colney on a full-time basis, but he should be able to cope with the step up in intensity.

Thought this was satire when I read the title.
Good luck to him but with a name like ‘kid(d)o’
And yet another double barreller you can see why I had the thought!
