Arsenal Women Draw West Ham Away In FA Cup 4th Round

Arsenal Women have been drawn to play away at West Ham in the 4th Round of the Women’s FA Cup. This is the stage where the Gunners enter the competition.

The tie will be played on Sunday, 26th January at Rush Green. Arsenal have won a record 14 FA Cups, but have not won the trophy since beating Chelsea 1-0 in the 2016 at Wembley.

Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup in the 5th round last season after a 3-0 defeat away at Chelsea. This year’s final will also be held at Wembley on Saturday, 9th May.

Arsenal were 4-2 victors when they last played at Rush Green a year ago.

I suppose the pecking order for silverware this season would leave the FA Cup down in third place. Personally, Dan C wonder winner in the 2016 final is the reason I took to following AWFC so the FA Cup remains dear to me. For old times sake I’ve just re-run the game and we really did give Chelski a shock that day. Lovely memories. I started getting interested in the year they won the quadruple. Been slowly building from there. Hope we can achieve the domestic treble this season. Not expecting the quadruple again, that would be greedy!
