Arsenal have confirmed that 17-year-old Dutch mdifielder Salah-Eddine has joined the club’s Academy after leaving Feyernoord.
In announcing the news, the club reveals that the teenager is “renowned for his agility and creativity in the middle of the park.”
He joins our Professional Development Phase and will compete for a place in the under-18s and under-23s.

Speaking about his move, Salah told Arsenal.com: “I want to become an important player in the under-23s and then eventually get involved with the first team in some capacity.
“I want to see what that’s like, but above all else I want to have a really good season with the under-23s. Maybe if I do that then I’ll be able to join the first team here and there in training. Those are my targets.”
And on his style of play, he added: “I’m a central midfielder and I like to play box to box. Offensively I’m a creative player and I can play with my left or right foot. I score goals and get assist, and defensively I like to think I do my bit too, especially in the transition.”
This is likely to be the final transfer window that English clubs can snap up under-18s from abroad so it’s possible we might be tempted to get a couple more of these deals over the line in the coming weeks. Last week, we confirmed the arrival of another free agent, George Lewis from Norway.
FIFA’s regulations on the protection of minors allow for the international transfer of footballers between the ages of 16 and 18 if they are moving between clubs that are both based in the territory of the EU.
By the time Brexit is complete on 31 December, the UK will no longer be within the EU’s territory.
