After a lengthy wait, Kido Taylor-Hart’s future was finally resolved this week as he signed his first professional contract.
The winger demonstrated his quality for the U23s last season as he scored four goals in 13 games and this season it is expected that he will continue be one of the key attacking forces for the team.
Taylor-Hart possesses excellent close control and frequently gets into dangerous areas, while he has worked hard in recent years to improve his end product. He is a fine crosser and plays without fear.
The 18-year-old was part of the U23 side that lost 4-0 to Boreham Wood last night and even though Arsenal’s overall performance was rather disappointing, Taylor-Hart still managed to show some glimpses of his quality.
Having already trained with the first-team previously, the Hale End product will now be looking to edge closer to the squad and will hope that he can be in contention for involvement in the Carabao Cup this season.
Losing Taylor-Hart would certainly have been a significant blow for Arsenal and it is hoped that he will now be able to really push on and fulfil his vast potential.

Here’s to hoping he actually fulfills his potential. Too many youth prospects have dashed my hopes in the past
