Arsenal U23s returned to winning ways last week with a 4-0 success against Everton and they will be seeking to build further momentum when they face Leeds United tomorrow night.
The young Gunners will be looking to follow in the footsteps of the first-team by dispatching of Leeds, and Salah-Eddine, who was on the bench for the Carabao Cup fixture, is likely to have a key part to play at Elland Road.
The technically gifted midfielder has produced some excellent performances for the U23s in recent weeks and is capable of creating chances with regularity.
However, Kevin Betsy’s team are set to be without Charlie Patino, who is missing due to an injury.
Folarin Balogun could receive another runout for the U23s, with the forward having been an unused substitute for the first-team on Tuesday. Balogun has continued to perform to a high standard for the U23s, although it does appear that a loan move could be needed in January so that he can test himself against senior opponents.
Meanwhile, right wing-back Ryan Alebiosu has produced some excellent performances for the U23s of late as he has made a significant contribution both defensively and in an attacking sense, which included him scoring against Everton last week.
Leeds have gone five games without a win, so Arsenal will be hopeful of taking all three points and boosting their chances of challenging for the title.
Former Gunner Sam Greenwood, who came on as a substitute for Leeds in midweek, could be more prominently involved on this occasion.
Tomorrow’s game will kick off at 7pm.
