The draw for the third round of the FA Cup has taken place, and Arsenal will face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The Gunners are the competition’s most decorated club, winning 14 FA Cups in total, the last coming in 2020 when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s double gave us a 2-1 win over Chelsea.
This will be our fifth-ever FA Cup tie against Forest. We travelled there as holders in 2018 and were unceremoniously dumped out 4-2. Previous to that we won 2-0 in 1993, lost 2-1 in 1988 and won 1-0 in 1979.
Third round games will take place on the weekend beginning Friday, 7 January.

Back in the cloughie days this would have been a huge game, sad to see forest struggling – would prefer it to be spuds in their place lol or ManUre
Forest are not having a good season. Wait until they play us! We will give them a confidence boost for sure.
