Arsenal have confirmed that Nikolaj Moller has signed for Dutch side FC Den Bosch on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old striker spent the first half of the campaign in Germany with Viktoria Koln but was recalled earlier this month after struggling for game time. In total, he scored three goals in 13 appearances in Germany.
Den Bosch, who play in Holland’s second tier, have recruited Moller to fill the gap left by attacker Jizz Hornkamp who was sold to Willem II last week.
Best of luck to our young Swede.
Can’t believe Hornkamp went to Willem II but they have sorted their striker problem I suppose.
They’ve definitely covered themselves with young Jizz.
Amazing that the club from my hometown has signed an Arsenal player! All the best to Möller!
Has anyone ever been able to say the name of your hometown club without adopting a Partridge voice?
Took a chance, googled Jizz Hornkamp…
It’s an actual bloke who plays actual football. Sounds like a name from Toast of London.
You seen Toast of Tinseltown? That’s even better.
Have only watched the first episode so far. I love Matt Berry, he has a direct line to my funny bone. Have you seen Year of the Rabbit?
Surely Hornkamp should have gone to Switzerland. Young Boys could have done with Jizz, they don’t score many goals.
Might have been an idea to keep him around given how poorly our transfer window is panning out. At this rate, Mika Biereth could get a few games up front.
Are you feeling OK Andrew? There wasn’t a single joke in there?
Too easy?
Feel sorry for blogs having to cover the whole transfer window, so slow and boring – definitely need a tumbleweed emoji!!!
