Jonas Eidevall has sprung a surprise in his starting line-up with Katie McCabe set to play at right-back and Steph Catley at left-back. Noelle Maritz and Laura Wienroither are both on the bench.
Rafaelle has not quite made the match day squad but should be available for the game at Everton next weekend. Lotte Wubben-Moy starts at centre-half. In midfield Lia Walti, Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema start, with Foord, Mead and Blackstenius in the forward line. Caitlin does have experience of playing at right-back though…
Mana Iwabuchi is fit enough for a place on the bench.
Team: 1.Zinsberger; 15.McCabe, 6.Williamson, 3.Wubben-Moy, 7.Catley; 13.Walti, 10.Little(c), 11.Miedema; 9.Mead, 19.Foord; 25.Blackstenius.
Subs: 5.Beattie, 8.Nobbs, 12.Maanum, 14.Parris, 16.Maritz, 23.Iwabuchi, 26.Wienroither, 77.Heath
Best of luck to them.
I have far more respect for them than I do for the miserable bunch of losers that lost yesterday.
Best of luck to the women’s team today! I really hope we can defeat Chelski and go on to win both the FA cup and the League. COYG!! 🙂
