Absolutely. I guess Cedric isn’t fit enough yet. At least Martinelli and Gabi had some rest recently since they didn’t go with Brazil. I’m most nervous for Xhaka. But hey, if this was Champions League they’d play and nobody would complain… no doubt medical team will be monitoring and adjusting the training to ballance
If this was CL, they will play yesterday or Tuesday. Not today with Liverpool coming up on Sunday as well.

gonna be hard for nelson to “do it on the pitch” per arteta’s quotes this week re: his situation if he can’t even start in the europa league and martinelli has to do double-duty.
This is the first competitive match he’s been available after no pre-season and a lengthy injury, so there’s no reason anyone should have expected him to start. I imagine he’ll come on as a sub, though.
Fast start – 2-0 in 30 minutes and get Martinelli off at the half. Mr. Nelson gets his chance. Starting to worry about Martinelli – the lad needs a break. Especially after the vicious cunty spudsy attack.
Nah, I feel like Martinelli is a hungry player like Xhaka. He loves playing anywhere at anytime. Plus he hasn’t had games because of the international break. Hasn’t gotten injured since 19/20 season “knock wood”. Hopefully we kill this game off quickly and he gets a Lil rest.
